Hi, just wondering if anyone uses the cb products Phil Andrews pod I'm very tempted for simplicity and flexibility of the setup but the images on his website are not very clear or detailed.

I've not got any images of mine that are any better than the ones on the site, in at a few of sunset/sunrise pics I E taken where the pod happens to be in the frame.
What do you want to know about it? It's a goalpost setup with the parallel bars to turn it into a pod. The pre drilled holes in the buzzer bar is where you decide to put the circular nut that screws into the banksticks forming the goalposts you want. The banksticks have square heads which butt up against the square buzzbars and stops the head of the bankstick from spinning.
I suppose I could set it up in the garden and take some shots of it with three rods on with big pits to give you an idea and measure how big my buzzbars are if you want?

How many sets of holes are on the bars to allow for setting up splay and moving rods about on them.
I'm pretty sold on them to be honest for ease of setup I love my custom angling solutions pod but it's a ballache to build up at times.
I've got xtd 5500 reels but as the buzz bars measure 15 inches there shouldn't be any space issues between the reels.

The three rod buzzbars come with three holes drilled. You can ask them.for different size buzzbars as I did instead of what it comes with standard. Depends how far apart you want your rods with those reels you've got. You could have your buzzers in the first holes and the banksticks on the second holes.
Measure what you've already got and try and match it up with Chris's ones. Try calling them up and see what they've got. Maybe they can do a custom buzzbar for you?

Some pics would be great as I'm struggling to see what one actually looks like and how long or short the bars can be etc

There are a few but not many detailed ones with a good over view of them sorry to sound akward but i like to really see what im buying and as i cant see one in the flesh i was asking if anyone used one and could share images and feedback.
I've tried 3 pods in the last year and cant find one im happy with that works for all situations.

I would suggest measuring up what you want and then have a look on his website as he can cater for most just by the options on bank stick lengths etc, If you want something custom built such as different widths or more than 3 holes then just contact him, I'm sure he will be able to help.
IMO CB Products are the best out there, lifetime guarantee too.

It looks like 7 which is 2 more than the river pod set up which seems to be the best picture so would imagine they are around 2” longer

Yep he has just custom made me very wide buzz bars and long sticks for the phil andrews setup as i will be using it for piking with drop offs , chris is a sound bloke and builds as i do my rods for use not just for admiring .
