Alright peeps, i'm on the hunt for a nice wide (budget) bed chair and have narrowed it down to the Sonik SK TEK wide or Carp Spirit Magnum XL.
I wondered if anyone here has any experience with these before I take the plunge, sadly none close enough to warrant a test lie down, so i'm grasping at strawers a bit and hoping for the best when It arrives...!

Can't compare the two but I did buy the Sonik this year and having done a few nights on it so far have no complaints. Feels better built than the Trakker bed I replaced

Hi have the Sonik one and the sleeping bag to go with it. I love it, very comfortable and warm.

I think the bedchair market is not as black and white as it used to be. I saw the Trakker beds at a show a few years ago and they appeared far cheaply made compared to previous efforts. The Nash beds look the part, but felt nowhere near as comfortable as the Avid Benchmark.
Personally, I owned the Fox Flatliter MK2 for 3 years. I spent six months on it every night after pissing my Mrs off, and I think the furious ham shanks broke one of the legs. Apart from that, superb bed.

I had a Sonik SKtek bedchair for 2 years only issue I had was it wasn't as supportive as my newer fox duralite but value for money it was great until a leg bent (my son decided it was a surfboard) and I couldn't get a replacement section).
The overall build quality was great and once i added some para cord as supports it was a fantastic bed although i fish maybe 20 nights a year if im lucky so it wasnt used a great deal
But Sonik customer services tried their best to help me.

Thanks all. Some good advice here. Maybe the Sonik is the sensible choice, it's cheap enough to take a flyer on it. That said the Carp Spirit is slightly wider.. absolute mine field out there. Wish there was a bed chair warehouse I could visit locally!

If you look on here, the wychwood tactical is probably the highest regarded bedchair. Its also about 3kg lighter than the sonik, but its £50 more expensive. Ive been waiting for ages to see if I can get it for closer to £100 but its not budging so I might have to get the sonik
