We bought 2 GF grills a few years ago during a Black Friday sale, they were only small but fit slices of bread on fine. Only £5 each, we have 1 at home and my son has 1 at Uni. Needless to say, he's living off cheese and ham toasties when his mum's frozen cottage pie runs out. We also do a lot of toasties on ours, because I'm a greedy sod, I manage a 3 slice ham, cheese, mushroom & fried egg club sandwich. Copes perfectly with them.

We bought a Large George grill for proper camping trips when using an electric hook up.
It was so good we now use it at home quite a lot.
Toasties, steaks, full English, fish etc.
Just about anything you can grill or fry will work.

If you have a frying pan and an oven your good lol,

Two slices of bread butter one side hot pan bread in butter side down keep checking on how coloured it's getting you want it golden not black!! Pop the cheese on even distributed on both slices of bread allow to melt a little, ham on close the sandwich onto a baking tray with grease proof and into the oven for 5 mins on 180 boom done

Our lass has been using the George Foreman grill for about 20 years to make "Toasties". I only got reminded about it a couple of weeks ago, again, when I slipped up and mentioned to her we do not have anything to make "Toasties" on and my ears were burning as I got a lecture on cooking.

Once again I had to listen to when I'm away for the week or month fishing how she makes all these cheese toasties etc on the GF on a night whilst watching TV, whilst I'm roughing it with the Ridgemonkey.

Perhaps someone should invent a 12 volt GF to run off a battery to level the playing field up.
Are you sure?
