Hello, I'm looking for a quality set of budget reels if that's possible? Although there seems to be some good options out there, Penns, Mitchell's, Fox FX 11 or Okuma 8000's all look tried and tested maybe the new Sonik Vader X 10000 Pro or even the Avid ACR. What's you opinions?

I too have a set of Okuma Inc 6000's, they're classed as mini big pits and they're very good, I use these on my 10' rods. But they'd be OK on 12' rods, but not for very long distance work. So I guess it depends what type of fishing you're doing, what range will you be fishing, free spool or quick drag. And what you class as a "budget" reel.
I also have some of the Mitchell big pits, about £70 apiece now. I have a set of the free spool ones and a set on the quick drag ones. Again very good reels for the money. Personally, I wouldn't go away from either Daiwa, Shimano, Okuma, Penn or Mitchell reels but there will be people who would disagree with this.
