I need a life jacket for my new syndicate.
This is not an area i have any experience in so after some advice. I want something that doesnt take up much room, so a self inflating one would be ideal.
The fox one seems pretty reasonably priced, and looks ideal size wise. Is anyone able to recommend any others that would be worth me looking at please

I'm not sure about the self inflating one as I would forget to change the canister knowing me

There are plenty of self inflating life jackets about.
Always check it holds air when you get one this also will teach you how to repack it.
And always have a crutch strap with a self inflating life jacket.
Also never fold them when you store them.
Treat it with respect and one day it might save your life.
Dont use a self inflating life jackets in a cabin only in a open boat.
Crewsaver and mullion are the brands I know and use and used for work.

Its not a lake ill be fishing from a boat. Its only needed for the odd occassion i may need to go out in a boat to free a snagged fish, retrieve tackle from a tree etc. They are the only reasons to go out. They are just normal plastic boats.

I brought a self inflating but ended up getting rid as the mice ate it! I never liked it too be honest as I didn't feel safe with it on. I always wondered if it would inflate if I went over as it had never been tested. I could have tested it but I think I would then wonder if it would work again once I changed the gas over!
I ended up replacing it with a foam filled one from crew saver. It doesn't pack down like the other one but it doesn't need to as I just leave it in the boat and slip it on before I go out.

What ever you buy , make sure it has a Crotch strap....
