Does any E know of something similar to the Tempest 150 say from Cyprinus or someone?
Simply cannot justify the price of the Tempest 150.

Quest tackle Defier is alot smaller inside then the Tempest 150

Was happy with my previous Quest defier (10,000HH ) current models are 20,000HH

Frontier Xd is not larger then the Tempest 150: 270 x 210 vs 315.x 255
But because of the flat rear/sides the Xd gives alot space inside, in the Frontier topic I have posted a comparison of both

The 255cm depth on the trakker is that measured from the middle bar? Be more of a fair comparison to measure from the bars at the side of the bivvy because that triangle shaped back on the tempest is dead space unless you invested in a oval bedchair.

I was on the cyprinus site a couple of weeks back as was tempted by one of their bivvies or the F&L brollies (have an armo currently)
Went back on this week as have some spare cash and it seems the prices have gone up by a bit. I think they take the piss with that. Must be cos its spring and lockdown has ended for overnighters!
They do look good but the prices for me are creeping upto the level of the 'branded' versions especially the brollies, I think the overwarp for the f&l is more expensive than the actual aqua version can be bought for.
Might be worth making an offer on one tho, dont ask you dont get.

You could get a tempest v2 xl for £499 not that long ago which has a similar footprint. Not sure if any shops will have any left but worth a google. I got mine from johnson ross.
