Before anyone suggest I contact Jag I have already begun that process and I am sure they will sort it as most of the feedback suggests great customer service, however what I am trying to understand is have I been unlucky or did I make a bad investment?
The issue is with a new pro lite bank stick, the carbon shaft has simply come out of the head where its glued in. Been used only 2 or 3 times, no real pressure exerted etc. I would have just contacted them and let them sort it BUT a mate on my syndicate had exactly the same thing happen a couple of weeks ago. I have spent a few quid upgrading to their gear and I guess I am looking for reassurance (or otherwise) that I made the right choice and have just been unlucky?

I'd say just unlucky like anything that's mass produce your always gonna get defected items wether it's expensive or not it's how the manufacturer and tackle shop deal with getting the problem sorted without much hassle to u

to be honest i dont think those 2 materials bond partiularly well, I could name another tackle manufacturer whos gear has the same problem, Only one bankstick in six, but exactly the same thing has happened to one of mine. I will glue mine as ive had it a few years

As expected JAG have contacted me straight away to try and sort it out. I don't want to knock a home grown business, in fact I went for their stuff because I actively support uk business where I can. I am hoping the other stuff I have lasts me years and this was a one off.
