I've had to fish a couple of commercial waters recently as the "sensible" place I normally fish is fully booked. I seem to turn up and people moan about it not fishing well, but I'd mention a few things (as I've caught a few!)
1 : It's April, there's easterlies and high pressure/freezing over night. You can't expect the fish to be heavily on the munch.
2 : If there's nothing been caught for a couple of days, there's no point spodding loads of pellet / "munga" out as the fish obvs aren't feeding hard.
3 : Maybe feeding decent boilies only is a better route as the fish need nutrition this time of year, so any feeding fish will want a decent food source.
4 : Shallow water might be a better option than the deeps.........

it has a bit. Nowadays if I go anywhere a bit busy I seem to be thinking more about working around my fellow anglers than the fish.

It's the YouTube generation mate, I had it last year on my water, new anglers rock up, ask pertinent questions to which I give them the full sp. Far margin fishing, bait only enough for a bit and you'll catch etc
To their credit they thanked me for being open and helpful. 10 minutes later, one of them turns back up, “Can you fish zigs? “ “ we've never fished them before” yeah again give him some advice depths etc
Nodding off an hour later, laddo is back... can you spod? I'm going to spod over my zig....!!!
The pair of them then proceeded to walk around the far margin and fill it in with what looked like maize!
So never fished the place before, never fished a zig but is going to spod over it, needless to say they blanked.

Just done 48hrs with a mate. Everyone and I mean everyone that turned up instantly banged out 5-10 spods. Didn't see or hear anyone catch anything all weekend and when leaving this morning those I asked hadnt had anything. Me and my mate didn't even get through a kilo of boiles between us all weekend yet managed to catch
This is all to be expected due to years of targeted mainstream advertising that is paying dividends thanks to the must have carper generation. Hopefully there's calm after the storm or the future is very bleak.
