Hi guys
I have been given a viper icon that if I can get working then I can just keep it,so I'm hoping it's a cheap fix.
So the handset/remote burnt out, my friend who us into his radio control cars etc is trying to fix. Is there any 4 channel transmitter etc that any one else has used to replace or upgrade?
Also if any one has any info on the electric side to these boats that will be a.massive help

Don't know much about bait boats, but I'm sure I've seen on the tinternet a company who repairs them, perhaps someone can provide more details?

Ref : the boat work backwards , put a battery in and turn it on if there's no joy then first I would check the fuse in the boat if you can't decide if the fuse has gone just simply put a piece of tin foil
Over the fuse terminals and put the fuse back in and then see if the boat fires up.
If it does then it's only the fuse 👍

Baitboat Solutions...guy called Joe...knows his stuff and did some good work on my Icon and Legacy boats. Not sure if he is still in business as his Facebook page has been idle for a while but he would be the first guy I'd turn to.

He has got the motors running but As he doesn't have a 4 channel remote he wasn't sure if each motor needs it's own signal etc.
The boat was working before some one split it in half to see if there was any parts to fix his own icon but in end never removed anything only thing that happened was the remote burnt out
