I've recently managed to pick up an original fox ultra 50 brolly in a job lot that I bought. I was thinking of selling it but can't find any anywhere to get an idea on price. All I have found out is that fox had to stop making them, possibly as they resembled another companies product but not sure. Just wondered if anyone has any ideas, thanks

Are you talking about the one that came out in 1993 if so what sort of condition it in

Yes I'm sure it is, it's the one that opens differently to normal brollies, it's in really good condition

Is it the type that opens out and you then screw a centre boss in , so there's no poles internally, I've had this type since the 90s for my day sessions, there was 1 on eBay last year it went for around £50 but the postage killed it for me (he wanted £20) as there heavy and it was too far for collection

I had one in 93 had the module that clips inside gives a cotton iner with sawn in ground sheet outstanding quality the stuff that they churn out today is nowhere near in the same league great brolly if u want to sell it what area you in

That's the one, material feels quality, I'm in Canterbury, Kent.
Not sure weather to sell it or just use it for the odd day sessions.

I would keep it for day session wish I had kept mine The ones out now are like tissue paper

I'd keep it or at least try it first for a few sessions then I'll bet you'll keep it
If hasn't got a screw centre poll instead of the std spike get one makes all the difference
