Ive always got on with ESP catalupts. Currently using the mega-pult which has a larger pouch for more bait, but short-med range

I wanted one for a similar reason and found the really cheap ones (bright red frame/elastic and black, hard plastic pouch) from China on eBay for about £3.50 are absolutely spot on.. so good I bought another just in case. 12millers go about 35/40 yards and 16s about 55/60, really accurate and don't catch your knuckles either.

Drennan feeder-pult is the most satisfying coarse fishing object I've owned. I like the small moulded mesh pouch. It'll flick 2 15mm baits 20 to 30 yards with laser precision!
