Just got home and caught the back end of a documentary which stated there is a Prussian strain of king carp that can change sex dependant on female numbers and change back when there's an equilibrium of sexes.
I know pike have been doing the jack and Jill thing since time began, but carp?
I lived in Eastern Europe for many years and do kind of pride myself on knowledge of strains, never heard of Prussian carp before nor the sex change piece.
Any knowledgeable enlightenment would be greatly appreciated

It's been known for quite a while, here's a link
Also in Jurassic Park, all the dinosaurs were female but because they sequenced a gene from a frog, it allowed the dinosaurs to change sex and mate. (That might be a bit of Hollywood license though!)
