Bit of an urban myth that is....

It's Eynsham Hall Estate Lake in Oxfordshire.

You can see on the original Go Fishing TV video with Terry Hearn he catches a carp at the end. It's the same carp in Alfie Russel's latest ESP video - called the “Video Fish”. You can see from “Old Friends and Mr Fox” it's tha same lake as on Google maps, fishing to the right of the small island.

I've fished at Eynsham Hall a few times, and it's definitely a popular spot for carp. It's cool how the same carp shows up in different videos, makes you realize how some fish really stick around and become local legends. The small island and the layout of the lake are pretty distinctive, so it's easy to tell it's the same place. Always fun to recognize familiar spots in fishing videos.
