My old faithful nash ndulgence sub lo has finally given up on me and so I'm in the market and had thought about a like for like replacement however I like the look of the trakker levelite transformer and reviews seem good.
Is there anything else I should consider main factor is weight, ease of use and comfort

I have long back and like it but the stitching went at the front where your thigh\ knee is (not sure if design has changed) and at £170 to replace it I won't be rushing to get another one. If you can find one that is.

I had the levelite long back chair for a bit was a great chair and never had anything wrong with it at all no problems with stitching I did give it to my dad thought when they brought out the new version with the recliner bit added to it just because I like changing the angle of the back aswell

I have both an og Nash Indulgence Sub Lo Wideboy & a Trakker Levelite transformer . . . they are completely different chairs IMHO.
Nash is great for comfort / height adjustability / general bivvy chilling but is big and heavy (as you know) - too big & heavy to lug on a day sesh for example . . .
Levelite transformer is primarily for use as a bedchair buddy (and is excellent for this as the front legs extend a long way) but can also be used as a day chair. Its light enough (just) to lug and I've got a strap on mine, however I don't use it for days / river fishing and prefer a much lighter JRC Stealth for this. I do use it for 24-48 hours sessions and for this its perfect . . .its comfy enough (higher back than sub lo) so is a good all round compromise. No arms though . . so may take a little getting used to.
I'm thinking of selling my sub lo if you want it? lol . . .

Belch - great review and just what I was after my sub lo is the standard version and is very comfy but a bit heavy and so my thinking with the transformer is it'll be a bed buddy and a chair and that appeals as intend to do nights mainly as opposed to days

The ultra lite is an inferior product my pal had one the feet are smaller and it's a lot flimsier than the sub lo
I'm gonna get a transporter as the bed buddy feature will be a win a win thanks all

also in the market when we open up...... however i will NOT be buying another trakker one.... stitching came apart at front edge and fabric has now torn quite badly , before you start i'm not a fatty
..... lot of money for, in my opinion , not a great quality chair.....

I found the trakker one way to upright to sleep in,oh and the welds failed and its now in the shed waiting for me to take it take it to get welded locally, lad who looked at it said the welds were awful and likely to have been wet when welded ( I think that's what he said) either way he said it was *****

The new trakker recliner longback chair is the better one mate, it's a fair bit more but the recliner really helps with adjusting the height of the angle of the back. Plus I've had it along time no problems with stitching or anything, tbh I've had the old one (gave it to my dad) and the transformer chair never had a problem with any of them

I wouldn't buy a second product from a firm that gave me such bad experiences either. The longback recliner is the only Trakker product I've ever had and it's been fine for the one season I have had it. It reclines more than a seat in economy on a long haul flight and I have taught myself to sleep soundly in those. I don't know about fitting it in a bivvy, I bought it to sleep outside in the warm months. Good luck with whatever you buy.
