what % or volume of liquids do you use per kg of boilie paste?

ive been using 10ml of salmon oil and 40ml of krill hydro per kg of paste.
is this too much or too little?

Depends on the rest of the mix. One bait I make a lot of is the same level as that but hemp oil and CSL. Another mix I am just sorting out is 100ml Hydro Wheat and stays nice and firm for >36 hours in the water.

edit to say all above are per Kg of basemix.

have you noticed a difference dropping the liquid in the mix pete?
im rolling a few kilo today and dropping the Hydro and keeping the salmon oil and using a spice package instead.
i roll a mix very similar to yours but its a tag more coarse so it breaks down after 12hrs as im only on days.
i think in this situation the spice mix would be better?

Each mix is different but I would often work on 80-100ml hydros per 6 eggs plus 20ml oil which will give me a bit more than a kilo of paste.

I wouldn't drop the liquid, as i have just said in your spices thread the spice and the hydro liquids 'do' different things within a bait.
Are you sure?
