Evening everyone!
New to the forum so please bare with me. Looking at getting 3 new rods. 12ft and cork handled. What would you recommend. - price wise looking at £200 ish or cheaper for the 3. Joined a new lake and carp go up to 40lbs in there so want something that won't break the bank and would easily land these fish. Looking at the wychwood riot 3.25lbs and the Sonik Vader. I'm using Diawa 20 emblem reels - had a cracking deal off a mate who's hardly used them and just bough basias.

You probably need to provide some info on the water such as the distance you plan to be fishing, and will you need an all rounder rod for various waters or just specifically for your new water. Whatever the lake details are, you'll get more bang for your buck buying second hand rods. You'll also get more value (better rods or cheaper ones) by not going for cork handles. In my experience, cork on lower price range rods isn't the best.
Have a look on Facebook Marketplace.

Fair point mate. It's for general all round. Distance would be approx 100-120 yards. Hope that helps

I'd just keep an eye out on either facebook or ebay.
Just seen these, which seem OK, a bit too far away from you though and not really to your spec. But just keep an eye out, and when you see a set, ask for opinions on here. Some people will post on ebay, whereas on facebook it tends to be collection only. You can also usually negotiate the price on facebook!!

Or these look good and not a million miles away from you, but not clear how many rods there are!! Says 2 sets, can see 6 rods, but price is £150 a pair? Also not cork, depends whether you're dead set on cork handles.

If you don't mind second hand I have 3 x 12ft Sonik SK4 XTR 12' 3.25lb TC with cork handles for sale well within your budget?
Great rods, caught loads of fish on them both here and in France. I got bigger rods early last year for a big water and they are not redundant and just gathering dust.
