HELLO. Im considering joining fryerning syndicate but after reading some of the reports on here that could be out of date now , is it a good syndicate or are the bad reports justified. If you could let me know as i do t want to waste my hard earned. Cheers. Steve

Don't go near it. There is a reason why the website is called xlcarp.com and not what it used to be.
Its all about making as much money as possible just look at the prices page of the website.
Yearly fee on the main lake £895
If you want to pay in instalments its £500 upfront then 4* £132.50 = £1030. But then it says that includes the £100 joining fee.
Then further down it says you can buy a "guest ticket" for £105 for 48 hours. Theres no mention of actually being a guest of a full paid member. He's just selling day tickets for the same "syndicate" water.

If you have fished in Essex for more than 20 years then you will most probably know where the early stockings came from. I would avoid like the plague !

Lovely well kept place and some lovely friendly members on valley and car park. Way to many members though it was normal to see every swim taken on Sunday or Monday night on main lake.
Was normal to see owner showing perspective members most weekends through the spring and summer
