I can only quote on the Harrison,
ive always had them,am now useing aviator 12.6 pluses,best I've had,nice at long range and sweet under the tip,
uk blanks and made at factory,👍😎

You need to try some out mate
I have the Century ADV1s in black stealth, nice looking rods, minimal bling, full jap shrink handles which I prefer, I believe you can get a duplon version too, not sure about abbreviated could be wrong?
Mine are the 3 1/4 test, what I would describe as a good al round carp rod, not a classic hoop, hate this style myself, firmer in the butt with a softer tip
Again, British made and both rods from what I would class as the top manufacturers in the country and some of the best rods you can buy. You won't go wrong with either, I guess it comes down to the feel, the action and what you want a rod to do?
Might be some video reviews online, I know Century have some. Have a google too?

I've got the standard build ADV1 in abbreviated 3.5lb. They aren't as pokey as I thought they'd be. I've only had mine out three times as they were a lockdown purchase last year. My first impression is they are exactly what you'd expect from a top rod company. Light and responsive from what I can tell given my limited experience of them. I'm looking forward to getting the measure of them as at the minute I'm still at the being a bit delicate with them stage.

I also have the ADV-1 in 3.25lb, they are very close to the standard torrix in my opinion. Lovely rods.

Close to a Torrix??? You gotta go out and try based on that comment I'd look at the aviator which is a new blank design not a blank made 10 plus years ago.

I favour 3.5 ounces leads.
Don't be get me wrong I have a set of torrix. I am merely suggesting it would be wise to try before you buy.

I have had 3 sets of torrix and didn't really like them despite all the hype and been the must have rod at the time. Thought I was missing something? Sold them on
3 1/4 test with 40 mm ringing I thought were horrible, butt like a poker and tip like a whip, poor mans FS
The 3 1/4 with 50mm ringing on balanced out a lot better, I can understand the similarities with the ADV1 but I feel the ADV1 has better through action between the butt and tip if that makes sense. Far better rod for me
12 foot torrix TE were the best I owned, nice rods, and powerful too which were perfect for where I was fishing at the time. Upgraded these to the Treb lites which were better still, very nice distance rods

The ADV1 used to be my go to rod - now the Aviator plus is.
