Anyone tried these fish finders out that you can buy fitted to the Lake Reaper bait boats? (FF918C Fish Finder)
Heard good things about the boat but wanted some input on the FF?
I've seen this morning that they have an option now for a Lake Reaper that actually works with the Deepers so that's the choice?

Have you bought the LR yet? If not... don't waste your money. It's a pile of horse poop. Loses signal when navigating intermittently. That one flaw in itself is highly frustrating.

I have a waverunner but my stepdad has a lake reaper I don't think there is anything wrong with it, good little boat for the money I thought

I had a Lake Reaper for a bit, it did exactly what it needed to and was good value for the money. If I wanted a fish finder I would have done the chirp ready one rather than the pre installed
I have one with the standard FF fitted & it does the job for the price. It does all I ask of a Fishfinder as regards to water depth,temperature etc.
Quite how accurate the fish locator is up for debate, but a basic pinging of fish does for me?
Whilst the boat doesn't have GPS or memory facilities, it's enough for what I want from a baitboat ..
i.e to take a bait & freebies out to a required location in one go with minimal disturbance.
The only negative I hear about the deeper option is that it has less range than the factory fitted FF & it requires a different handset due to interference?

I haven't bought it yet, I have heard good things about the boat but wasn't sure on the FF as read mixed reviews...one mate said is showed up that some water he was fishing was 12ft, when he put the marker out it was only 4-5 feet deep!
