Does anyone know of a supplier of 10/15lb Dacron, preferably black? I'm wanting some to mess about with a rig I used in the past, new braids are of no use, too loose and flat profile.

You could try looking at Dacron that is used a Fly Line Backing.
It does seem to be rated at 20lb or more though.

Cortland micron fly line backing in 20lb BS is probably the nearest to old skool Dacron.
Use a marker pen or bucket of water with a Dylon powdered dye to suit.

Black cortland micron in 20lb is on ebay mate, from America, you have postage and import duty to add, but still miles cheaper than the carp tax braids.....
