Fishing horcott on 22nd march any information would be appreciated

Horcott is a nice lake (presume you're on the main lake), I've only fished it in the summer though. Me and my lad been a few times over the years and we really like it. If you're on the fish, pretty much anything works, bottom baits, pop ups, wafters, mixers, we've pretty much caught on anything. Haven't spodded particle there, that's probably the only thing we haven't tried. Careful of using krill baits though, there are lots of tench in there and they love em. We haven't had anything massive from there, biggest probably mid double.
In terms of swims, obviously find em first. If nothings showing, the carp park swims do well, the "beach" opposite the car park is good, the point by the beach is good. There is also a good swim halfway down the syndicate lake side which is good, there's a chopped down tree or bush in the middle of it making it a nice double swim.
Depending on how cold it gets, there's also some massive pike in there, but if that's your thing, check the website as you can only fish for them in winter (not sure when it ends, could be 31 March).
