Going to spool 2 new reels up today and have both subline in 10lb and syncro xt loaded in 12lb , what is everyone's preference as I have never used either, the line i used to use (I've been away from fishing for several years) isn't the same so thought I would try something new.

First thing I would check are the line rules on the fisheries you are going to be fishing regularly. A lot of fisheries require minimum diameter and/or minimum breaking strains these days. 10lb bs will definitely not pass muster on many fisheries. I would spool up with 15lb Synchro XT and you're covered. Or you can just ignore it all and do your own thing.

Everywhere seems sold out of the standard Syncro XT, unless anyone knows anywhere that still has some? I've read on here the loaded ain't as good?

Not used either but have read multiple times it's nowhere near as good.

I recently changed from shimano techinium black to 15lb synchro xt I got to admit I'm loving the stuff and I'm really glad I changed over, took a lot of talking me round to it seeing I've used techinium black for years. I managed to get two spools of it from Johnson Ross a week or so ago but they are out of stock now, I would set up a stock alert I don't think it will take long to get hold of some

Not a choice which you gave but I've also been looking at new line. There's another recent thread named "line advice" which I saw yesterday. About 6 different people recommended the Gardner GR60 and its really well priced too.
