Well, seems like an age ago since I first tried to get hold of the 13ft version. Looked hi and low, zero rods anywhere. Cut a boring story short, Outlaw Pro got a batch in at the end of last week, so I pounced on one.
It's defo lighter and better made than the Grey's number I've constantly grumbled about on here, well, it should be considering the price difference. The reel seat Shimano have come up with is quite a thing, nothing like in the video's I've seen on YouTube; quite small really...pretty looking if you can say such a thing about a reel seat.
Anyhoo, the proof is in the eating as they say. Got a spot I've been baiting at quite a distance, so it'll be interesting to see how knackering it's going to be compared to the Grey's rod I was blasting bait out with.

I never got a response from Vic Gibson after placing the order. The other thing that was playing on my mind is what other guys were saying at the time about the weight of the Harrison and although the Harrison is better made, all I'd be doing is swapping like for like essentially. I took it onboard and went with the Shimano instead just for the weight factor, which might not be a lot in difference, over time I'm sure it'll work out better in the long run.
