I've used it in 12 and 15lb and think it's decent. Cast and sinks well and a decent strength. I've not used X line or Contour due to the doubling of price.
Yep! Switched to this to try as the price was a no brainier. Spools on nicely and comes of the reels fairly elegantly for fluoro. Deffo the one I'll be using from now.

Use it in 12lb and find it excellent. Casts decent for a fluro and relatively supple. Obviously sinks like a brick. I have used x line, tiger line and kontour previously and cf600 is by far the best.

£40 I paid for my last spool a couple weeks ago
I've used it for a few years now after using mainly x line for many years before. I really like the cf600, and much easier spooling up from one bulk spool.
A word of note, check the Berkley website for the actual strains v diameter as most uk adverts are based on the diameter equivalent which is wrong.

Having loaded cf600 onto my reels last season I ended up stripping it off straight away as I found the knot strength terrible . I tried several different knots with great care bedding down etc but it made no difference . It would seem maybe I had a bad batch as others appear to have had no problems .

I had the exact same thing. Had the CF600 in 15 as mainline then used a couple of foot of lead-less leader. I'm confident in my knots, but with this stuff it didn't matter what you tied, figure 8 loop, grinner, uni they all went far to easily.

I'm using it with palomar think its fantastic! Sinks like a brick, found it supple for a fluro and had a 22lb mirror on Saturday day session first time out with it. Not had to try to cast any distance yet but can't see it being an issue up to 100yrds very impressed so far!!!

Tried a palomar knot and that went like cotton too. It had been on my reels for about 6 months before it seemed to badly deteriorate. Before that I also thought it was good stuff.

I've always used a grinner with it and not had issues at all. Possibly you two had a bad batch, just seems a bit strange on bulk production......

Exactly the same for me in 12lb. Whatever knot I used it snapped like cotton. Took it back to the tackle shop and they refunded straight away - after they tested it themselves and found exactly the same thing.

Had it on for a while, no issues with knots or coiling anymore than any other fluoro....
Only thing that's worried me, when using naked chod systems, I've found it to almost fray slightly when setting the sinker parts.
