I live far away from UK and I don't have possibility to try some rods but maybe you can help me to make a right choose .

I wish to buy 1 set of 3 rods but i don't know what to chose and maybe you can help me. I fish a lot in Europe from offshore and i need 3 rods for casting . I understand and i know the fact you can't have a casting rod and also to be fun to play fish but still i don't what my rods to be like a broom or worse like a crowbar

So let's start: (the order of them is random)

1) Harrison Aviator 13ft 3.50

2) Harrison Trebuchet Light 13ft 3.75

3) Century C2 SP or SP MK 2 13ft 3.75

4) Greys Xlerate 13ft 3.75

5) Hi's Ive

Also i wish to make them custom on my on size and with Fuji Torzite

So what to choose?

Has anyone owned and used both the hi s ive and the aviator plus to draw a fair comparison. And for the OP may be good to actually say why you think one is better than the other?

I'm still torn between the 13ft aviator plus' and 13 ft hi-s Ive's

Have you used the hi s ive and aviator plus for a period of time? Not just a couple of casts On a Mates or held them in a shop? Had multiple fish on both of them?

Still own aviators 13' and ive's 13' both custom. Can't say why but prefer the ive's. It feels better for me.

Does one cast further than the other? One nicer to play fish on?

Ive's are a way better for casting and bag work with still a nice playing action.
Aviators are more a very good distance rod for normal leads with a good playing action.
Think Ives are a bit more powerful plus mine are Vic G
distance build, Torzites.... amazing
