Anyone got one of these?
Watched a Carpology vid last night and for the money, they look like they're a great deal/ steal. One concern is how does the phone connect, does it connect to the handset then to the boat, or just your phone to the boat? Weirded out by this, especially as it says 300m+, although I'm assuming that 300m+ is just for the 2.4ghz handset to boat? Just under a grand 👌

The handset links to your phone then sends the signal to the boat via 2.4 ghz
The gps is really accurate so once you mark and store your spots you just select your spot and off it goes, drop your bait then press home, you can then just leave it to return home.
Great boat had mine 18months

Something that curly mentioned on the Carpology video that there's a Deeper Chirp+ integrated inside, or is that a misunderstanding? Have you added a Deeper to your one?
Have you had it out in any heavy chop yet, and if so, how did it perform?

The deeper Intergrated into the boat is on the ND2 boat model . Guy named Joe jacobs from Baitboat solutions started of fitting them into the ND2 boats he also increases the range on the deeper by modifying it works to just under over 160 yards he quotes but he has said people have had the deeper working up to 190 yards and you still keep the warrranty on the boat if he installs the deeper if you already own one as he is the official UK repair for ND boats . The way Joe now fits the deeper into the ND2 boat he does it so you have no holes drilled into the bottom of boat .New direction have now copied the idea and offering it as an option when buying the boat 2 new but I think they drill a hole in the bottom of boat and they don't increase the range of the deeper like joe does .

No haven't fitted a deeper, fish finders banned on my lake
Have used in quite heavy chop, lake is 35 acres so get a fair bit of breeze, it handles it fine.

What is the support like from ND tackle? I have heard a few different opinions now regarding this company. I don't want to buy a boat if the support/service is very poor.

Been good to be honest, I had a problem with one of the motors, it was just a little noisy, they instantly sent me a complete float assembly

Bit the bullet and invested in one of these today, just in time for when nights start again. Had the Lake Reaper for about 2 months. What a load of **** that is. Complete waste of money. Hoping this is a significant improvement.
