Excuse me if this seems a daft question. If a lake bans leadcore or any type of leaders, how would you make up a heli rig to fish pop ups?

That you would use with a lead clip. So are you saying a 50cm piece of the tubing with a bead over and a heli safe?

Just use tapered mainline and fish a naked Heli/ chod setup. The Korda naked setup is very good and easy to use, all you've got to do is find a reliable tapered mainline 👍

Not sure what you mean by tapered Mainline. I have Daiwa sensor on my reels.
My thoughts are either dark matter Tubing with a bead, heli safe and spinner rig. Or just my line, small 2cm piece of tubing, bead and a heli safe with spinner rig.

It's a line that goes from thick to thinner. The line will go from a 35lb (needs be thick for a shock leader or if not used for long range, the thickness is needed to stop the line being knackred by the swivel going up and down on it chaffing it) and slowly tapering down for say 20ft to 15lb for 280yds and have the same at the other end so you can turn your line around if needs be.
Just Google tapered mainline, no need for tubing.

Both Fox and Korda sell reliable double tapered mainline. 300/350 metres of line that goes from about 40lb bs shockleader section at each end (in case you lose one end, never have) to 10,12 and 15lb mainline section all in one length with no knots. Ideal for naked heli/chod set ups. The heavy mono is very abrasion resistant and will cope easily with playing fish on a sliding swivel as well as providing a casting shockleader. Korda sell everything needed for a naked chod/heli set up as do Fox, Nash and others. Have used this for several years. Simple, easy, reliable and fish safe. One way to solve the issues. Works for me.

Whilst I favour inline leads when ever possible I have used a lot of heli's in the last few years - always naked.
I have been using the fox edges heli buffer sleeve and TA line gripper beads. As I don't use a bottom bead as soon as you get a hook up the hooklink swivel slides onto the buffer sleeve which protects the mainline.
Have landed plenty of fish on this set up with no damage to the mainline - this has been with 15lb shimano technium black.
