Looking at getting a decent underwater camera to attach to the end of a baiting pole and send live footage to my phone/tablet. I have seen the fishspy mounts but from what i have read up on the quality of the fishspy camera is pretty pants....having said that the lake I have in mind for it is only 3-4ft deep at most so it may be OK...
any other suggestions???

I've got a fishspy you can have a go of if you want Matthew. The picture is fine but as with all underwater cameras it depends on water clarity, light etc.

Cheers Daz, I might just take you up on that mate...
...the water is gin clear and as i say, 3 to 4ft deep at most so I am thinking it might just do the job..

Sounds interesting... ....did it give "live" pictures to your phone or did you have to record on the camera and then play back?
I'm looking for something that will give a live picture whilst dropping a rig into tiny holes in the weed..

I have used a fish spy on my baiting pole, I use 2 zip ties 1 around the pole 1 around the fishspy. The zip ties just provide enough grip and you can slide it and out. Have to say it works well but the water clarity on lake I am fishing is like tap water

I've used the echo pro in my pond which is very clear and 1.2m deep. Great watching the fish feed on my boilies from the comfort of my living room. Got to be worth a try

I have attached to my baiting pole but I lose wifi/Bluetooth signal as soon as camera goes under water? I have just been recording and then playing back

The only way to get "live" ,live being EXACTLY in same timeframe and NOT recorded for later viewing footage from a camera underwater is to have it connected to the viewing screen via a cable.
Bluetooth,Wifi etc are unable to transmit a signal through water.

That's what I was told as well, I had my GoPro copy on a pole, all connected to my phone, soon as I put it under water....no picture, now the question is, how to connect a cable from cam to phone and be water tight?
