They look like half decent shelflifes but he messes about with the recipes/ mixes way too much for my liking

Much more than half decent shelfies, very good baits in their own right. If you told me I could only use wasp or plum zing for the rest of my angling days I'd be fine with that (ok, as long as I could use tigers and a bit of ‘emp too).

Can see why changing a couple of the range each year might put people off, but I've never used a bad bait from Jay yet. He's always trying to push the envelope a bit further so I get why.

Superb baits and a pleasure to deal with Jay .
What he doesn't know about bait is not worth knowing .
Plum zing or the wasp 🐝 are both great baits

Only just being released I think but my god he caught a shed load of fish last year using the GWS baits.

Never heard a bad thing about Jays baits. I used to love his amber attract squid / strawberry baits when he was still at Nash......

Can't go wrong with his bait........he worked for Nash as his chemist etc
I've just taken delivery of 10kg of his hybrid wasp, had some good catches on standard wasp last year, and some good results in France 2019,buy with confidence,👍

Use with confidence - Jay makes great baits.
He does chop and change, i think mainly due to his creative mind. Plum Zing has been a mainstay and a proven catcher.
He used to make a bait called Monster Maple - man was that a great bait on the lake I was fishing at the time..
I don't use his baits currently as the postage to Europe is too expensive - I heard on the recent Carp Chronicles pod cast that he is looking into the viability of producing bait in France - if that's a goer I would be on it quicker than a crack head on a pipe!

Do any of you do any preparation to the baits to ‘unshelfy' them before use. I fish short overnight sessions and like a nice soft bait. The plumb zing and wasp I had were soft for a shelf life but nothing like a bag of frozen baits that had sat defrosting and sweating in the van all day. That's the way I like them.

I bought 40kg for a French trip that never happened .
Jay says they are fine for at least six month long as kept in a dry , dark place and then just freeze and treat as any frozen boilie
Are you sure?
