Im in the market for a new spod reel either the ultegra or the emblem whats your thoughts and experiences please

I much prefer the Ultegra over the Emblem
In comparison I found the emblem hard work and tiring to use, it's heavy and the line guards cause too much resistance.
So fine if you only want to spod a little bait at short range, but several kilo at 80 yards plus becomes a chore.
Plus the multiple line clips on the Ultegra are a bonus.

Had the ultegra spod for about 2 years now, good line retrieval rate, solid and reliable, decent line lay as well...
I normally fish at 90 yards and over, so baiting up at range, complete confidence in my spod rod and this spod reel...

Went through that exact dilemma 3 weeks ago, read all the forum posts here about the two reels and opted for the Ultegra Spod Reel, in fact I bought two because I wanted a permanent "Deeper" rod and another for a permanent Spomb without the hassle of changing over constantly.
Really impressed with the Shimano Ultegra, it's solid, smooth very well engineered and looks great - albeit I haven't tried them yet I think for the £145 each I paid they are excellent value for money.
Already braided up with 50lb and sat waiting for the ban on night fishing to end.
I have owned the Emblem in the past and to be fair that was a really good reel, the only thing that hacked me off about that was one of the line clips popped off which was only a small niggle but still wasn't expected.
