Hi All,

Any users of these two alarms on here? Just wondered to know about battery life and whether you think they are well made (as I'd be buying blind).

For the price they seem to have all the features you'd ever need and more.

Been looking at the prologic myself but nobody seems to own any yet, the sonics look the part but my mate has the older sonik alarms and the battery life is unbearable

Yeah, I think the Prologue are a bit too new to have any longevity reviews. I have the Prologic SMX which are good alarms, and the battery life is fine. The alarms take 2 x AAA and the receiver takes 3 x AAA. Think I've had the alarms 3 years, changed the batteries once, but I do use the best batteries - Energizer Lithium ones.
