At the minute I have 3 avid exodus rods which I bought when I first started back up carp fishing and for the money have done me well. Looking at upgrading and I've looked at either the crosscast or the powermesh daiwa rods. Anyone have any of these and how have they got on with them? Cheers 👍🏽

No experience of the crosscast but i've had nearly all versions of the powermesh including the new C2s (which I haven't used yet) but can fully recommend the powermesh rods, you won't be disappointed with them.

Cheers daz, I do have the powermesh floater rod and absolutely love it! Really light weight and excellent when playing fish. I'm hoping the 3lbs are like that. Wanted to know peoples opinions on them before I buy some. Can't go in shops for a while looks like 😫

Just tried to find the powermesh c2 12ft 3lb on the internet and couldn't find any anywhere 😫 then I read they are limited editions or something. Looks like I will have to wait abit

Hopefully it is due to lockdown and the factory being shut or something and not that they are no longer available

I may have got the last 3 3lbers from AD by the looks of it. they have 2.75 and 3lb in 10ft, 3.75 in 12ft and 3.75 in 13 ft. The sale prices have gone up too, I got 4 x 13ft for 79.99 each a few weeks ago, 99.99 now, in fact everything was 79.99 when the sale started.

The powermesh is a more powerful rod for the same t/c over the crosscast. The crosscast being more through action and the powermesh having more power in the bottom.

Not sure if you use Facebook but in the last few days future fishing put a video on of the powermesh they have built for the shop. This may help.

They look decent for the money.
The range at the moment is 9ft 2.75 tc, 10ft 3.25tc & 12ft 3.25tc.
They are doing a 13ft distance rod in the near future.
The 12fts they are doing 3 for £250 posted.

Yes as wetnet as already said, that's the one.
I rang Tony a couple of weeks ago asking about the casting ability of these very same rods.
They have put up another video of a guy hitting 40 wraps (160 yards) with them.
