Hi, got 5 grand to spend on a small van, narrowed it down to a vw caddy or Citroën berlingo, any thoughts/recommends ? Thankyou

I've got a VW Caddy and a Fiat Doblo currently mate. Had the Fiat a couple of years and the Caddy just over one. The Fiat is a short wheel base version, nice to drive and easy to load/unload. The Caddy is the Maxi version. Also decent to drive but a bit higher to load, it fits my bed chair in set up which was handy last summer when allowed to go fishing. You'd get more for your money with the Citroen than the VW but either are great vans. Just find the best looked after one you can in my view, badge is irrelevant when it comes to the vans actual use.
