Hi all,

I recently got bought the Shimano Baitrunner DL Reel 10000 as a Christmas present, but have never used a twin handle and would prefer a single.

Is there an option to buy a single handle and put this onto my reel instead? If possible, not sure if it would effect the performance or balance of the reel.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Yes - you can change them to singles handled reels. Speak to Felindre and double check and theyll give you a part number and a price

Wish I could get the single handle for my Aero 4000FA, the double drives me nuts.

That's wierd, I was told by Felindre there wasn't one but one may fit. The one they sent out looks just like that one, problem was the spindle wasn't long enough to lock the handle closed in position

I prefer the double handle on the smaller baitruuners - got a pair of 4000 DL's I use on my stalking rods.
