Hi everyone apart from the spool size are these 2 reels the same size width etc ?

No body size on 6000t slightly bigger, I have both sizes use 6000t for longer range and continental fishing both are excellent workhorse reels 👍🏻

Is it the same width mate ? Just thinking will they fit on my 7.5 inch rear bars ? Lol

I'm interested in this as well, how do they compare to a Shimano 14000 size wise, which one would be similar?

Body and handle on 6000t definitely bigger

6000t is a bit bigger. Retrieve is also very very slow on the 6000's compared to the 5000's.

The retrieve ratio is lower then again you have a larger spool very little in it. The spool is the same size as a million Max 9000 or Basia. It has an additional bearing compared to the 5k as well.

Next to my SS's it's bigger but not silly bigger,proper work horse reel made the last

There's a reason why the market is limited with 5000t,6000t,SS's etc and full of shimano top reels **** retrieve the amount I blank I need to be looking at some proper reels 😎🤣
