Hi guys been looking at these 2 rods had Torrix 3.25 for 12 years. The torrix are a bit stiff when playing fish for me, the max I fish is up to 100 yards 90% with solid or mesh pva bags usually up to 80 yards. From what I can tell the Cerbera seem to be a bit more softer in action especially in the tip where as the Aviator Flex are stiffer in the tip but softer in the butt. Thanks guys.
Given the choice, I would always want to be stiffer in the tip and softer in the butt.

Looking online it says the Cerbera is less fast than the Torrix but quicker than the Chimera having carbon 1k carbon fabric finish like a Torrix but with the tip tapers of the Chimera. Where as the Aviator Flex has a fast taper with woven fabric to the tip but the butt is a slower taper with added power zone. So is the Cerbera nicer to play fish on or the Aviator Flex? Thanks guys.

The rods you've got are better than both the others for fishing bags at that distance.
I agree about the torrix being stiff though, not my best buy, an expensive mistake for me.

Same as you I have had them 12 years they are getting tatty and worn now wanted something from Harrison the same quality that plays fish better but can still cast PVA bags a fair way. From what I have read the Cerbera have a better playing action than the Aviator Flex but can still cast PVA bags I think?

They are a completely different action to the torrix, seem softer mid blank.
I'm sure they would be fine in 3.25, but would take some getting used to after the torrix

Without having used either, they would have to be pretty tasty to be better at what you want than a ballista.
Or a torrix but in 2.5 or 2.75 with 7-8 guides and a tip

I prefer the cerbera to the torrix but pva bags aren't a big part of my fishing, if they were I'd have bought torrix.
The flex should have a nicer playing action but would not be as good casting bags.
Recovery on my cerberas is a bit slow once you go above 3.5 oz, if you want to use 3oz leads and a big bag I'd say these aren't for you. Much better suited to straight lead fishing imo

Ive only used my flex's with medium bags so far but they seem more than capable, they seem to really zing them out there too but I'm no expert on any kind of range fishing
