Hello is anyone using the Sonik 10' Xtractor rods and spod rod looking for a small cheaper set up for my grandson they look good but would like any reviews or bad points etc thank you

I use the 3.5tc 10 footers
Cast really well and nice to play fish on they are
not as stiff as I assumed

I have the 9ft 3lb and can cast well with them and play fish well, great for a quick day session.

I use 10ft 3.25 with Okuma 6000 reels. Great setup, cast well and accurate. Bit stiff but still decent feel through the tip. Great for chucking in my crappy Clio for a day season

I have the 9ft 3lb rods and can't rate them highly enough. Also have the 9ft spod rod which is good.

I too have these beauties, teamed with SS2600 and they're great- can't fault them, have enough punch for most of my uses & are soft under the tip, unless I'm fishing at extreme range, these are my go too for most fishing situations

After getting back into fishing this year (3 year gap), I opted for the 10' 3.25 because they fit in my GT86 nicely.
My mum's partner loved them so much he went and got a pair + Spod rod.
I have had the following attached, Wychwood Extricators, Nash Scope GT4000 and now have settled on Okuma Inception 6000's
I can't think of a better compact setup for the price which will tackle most waters.
Furthest I have cast is 19 wraps with 2.5oz lead (this was with GT4000, I think the Inceptions will allow much further after initial impression this weekend).

Rod £65
Okuma Inception 6000 £60 (on paper, it looks to be lacking but I am shocked at the quality and feel of them for the price, angler at my local water thought they were worth £150)
Sleeve £20 - £25
Honestly can't recommend them enough. If the "treasurer" would allow, I would upgrade to the Sonik Insurgent.
