Looking for some reviews on these, looking at getting some custom 12fts made for when I don't need to use my more powerful rods.

Not much around online so I thought I'd ask on here about them, I like my freespirit rods and been told by the tackle box they are very similar, else I'll just buy another set of s lites instead

I was impressed with the spod rod that I bought. Well made, love.y blank, great price.

But I hated the ringing and short handles. Custom built is definitely the way forward.

I just don't see the point of “fold friendly” ringing on rods with 6 rod rings ???

I've just had a set of 12ft 2.75 built but unfortunately not had chance to use them. The 2.75 are more a 3 I'd say and got a lovely action. If you check johnhennessy94 out on Instagram you'll see the rods he's built for me, full duplon with minimas and the free spirit cone butt cap. The built quality is great.

I have already been in contact with them for a quote for what I wanted, I've asked for just plain Matt black rods, black whipping, no logos, black butt cap and a alps waveform reel seat. Very happy with the price just didn't want to pay it out for them then the quality isn't there.

Like I said other option is a set of free spirit s lites both around the same price just the fact I could buy them customised that was swinging it for me

I've got 2 sets 1st being 3 1/4 2nd 3.5 su with Cork handles the 3.5's feel the same as the e class golds
Both sets are quality

How do the 3 1/4lb compare to the 3 1/2 SU for casting potential?

I've got a set of continentals and considering a set of 3 1/4 for use as lighter rods...
