anyway what's peoples opinions on the safe-liner mk2's ?
Alternative consideration is the N-Brice hangers or Korda black/whites.

The Black 'n Whites are a no mate, they rust (they use plated carbon steel instead of stainless).

I had the mk2 safeliner and I did not like them.I think they would be better if could use your own chains,I have the mcf bike chain on Johnson Ross stows and love them.They don't blow about in the wind and never had an issue with the line clip marking the line at all

I've also been looking at the jag safeliners, I use the delkim slimlites at the minute and fancy a change. What was wrong with the chain bud?

It's the same as most as in you get sideways swing , but it's no problem as long as you know how to set up your delks mate

For the money the cygnet arms take some beating. Coupled with a decent bobbin there brilliant. Not sure what thread Jag use but safeline head would be nice on the arms.

The chains seemed to twist alot and the ones I had the coating came off but I believe this is now sorted.If I could use my mcf bike chains I would consider them again

had my black n whites for 2 years in all conditions, never had any problems with them no rust nothing. personally think they are very well made

When mine rusted i complained to Korda and they told me it'd happened to loads of guys. They sent me a new set free of charge and they rusted in 6 months too. Take a look at Pekky's in last years masterclass vid - completely rusted. I saw it in another of their vids too. It's a unfortunate and well known fact.

Can only go off mine set which have been completely fine, also I'm renowned for going fishing in a heat wave and by the time I'm at the lake it rains for a week straight so they have seen their fair share of rain

Fairplay mate. I wish I hadn't had the problem as aside from the rust they were just what I was after. I even tried to pair them up with stainless components but because of the quick release which isnt compatible with anything else I ended up building a completely custom set of bobbins.
