Anybody have any experience of this particular model? At just over £700 for 3 look like decent value for a long range rod. Don't care about the looks, just interested to hear any feedback on this model.

They're a bit marmite , i like the look of them but some don't. I've got the 13ft 3.5 i'ves and really like them . I had them and the Harrison Aviator plus to try out alongside each other and suprisingly preferred the Free Spirit as i'm a long time Harrison user. Needs 3.5 or 4 ounces to load them up but they are still nice to play fish on for a LR rod. My other rods are Torrix TE's 12.6 and find i can cast the 13's just that bit further which was why i went for them.

Thanks for the input, another rod on the list was the Aviator Plus. What was it about the S Lites that you preferred?
My standard rods are 3lb NGs, which will do the majority of what I need, but one of my lakes is 150 acres and sometimes they are a big chuck away.
I've read someone on here saying that the reel seats twist on the blank of the SL, have you had any issue with this?

Haven't had any issues with the reel seats or rings on mine which are TB standard builds. I found the S-Lites easier to compress and a bit smoother to cast , they seemed to suit my casting style better than the Aviators. The Harrisons seemed to need more lead to get the most out of them , i was casting the same distances but using 3.5 oz on the FS and 4oz on the Aviators. Having said that the Aviators are a nice rod too.
