Hello
I'm wondering how to go about fishing lac du der. Looking for a map with swim numbers on. Hiw to book in advance and any general advice would be most welcome. How do the seasons affect the fishing in the three main areas. Out of bounds sections etc.

Any replies would be really appreciated guys.

Check the site pecheauder.
Good luck with getting a decent swim for 2021.
Or your planning to go in the summer, then you have a better chance.

You could just turn up at the office and see what if anything is left to fish and if there is nothing then, drop onto one of the other large waters in the area or rivers or canals.

Failing any of the above, the area probably has the highest density of private waters in France.

Happy Angling.

Brilliant, thanks for the info guys.

Looks an awesome place, challenging I'm sure but it's on the bucket list.

Does anyone have any information on GPS location while fishing on large waters?

Can you find a spot on the lake and then save the location via GPS enabling you to then go back to the exact spot for future runs?

Is this possible using an app on your phone?

Thinking this will make more sense than leaving H block markers out.

I've seen this method in action on bait boats using an auto pilot function......

Also are petrol outboards allowed on lac du Der?

Thanks in advance.

Never fished lac du Der, I can't help you about some info yuo are after, but I always use a GPS when fish large water and yes, you can save the location to find the exact spot to fish. The only advice I can give you is not to rely only on the GPS, they can't be accurate due to the satellite movement (more satellite they are connected more they are accurates) when you are on the spot saved yuo need to search the features you chosen to fish via echosounder, it's not a problem if the bottom is flat and featureless.

It's also very good to find the bank in the dark night after a long fight with a carp.
In my GPS I have saved a lot of swims and spots and where I have had activities from carps
Are you sure?

This action cannot be undone.

Yes, continue
