I hope so I've got every Friday booked off from now until the end of Febuary for fishing.

Not all this AGAIN,just go fishing until your club,syndicate or day ticket say differently
Although it's not been expressly mentioned with this new lockdown, I'd say it's similar to Tier 4, that being no staying away from home overnight - no night fishing.

Go to Gov.uk and you'll see the restrictions. You cannot leave your home for recreation so pretty clear no fishing is allowed, as was the case in March.

You can't leave your house apart from essential journeys so I would say no. All outside sports venues to close so if you class you lake as a venue then it will be shut.

Taken from the 22 page doc on .gov.uk website. So whilst fisheries have not been explicitly mentioned, pretty safe to say that fishing won't be permitted.

Been in Tier 4 here in south london for a while.
Fisheries.and angling clubs were open.
Personally I expect them to shut now.

However logic would say you are correct in this instance - which in my opinion is a disgrace. The 'planned-demic' was always going to be a min 12month experiment, they said as much this time last year . . .

Plenty of syndicates already shutting, not waiting for the AT. So I suspect the answer will be in the negative.

People may have done so, but Tier 4 expressly states that there is no staying over night which I would assume would include night fishing.
It's all as clear as mud to be fair. Best to wait and see what comes out over the next few days or so. As much as I've wanted to fish over night, I've stayed home. Pissed me right off.
