Haven't fished there in years, but the tackle shop in Exmouth used to be very helpful. Given its location on Woodbury common I'd be amazed if otters weren't a problem on there now.

Walked it a couple of times and looks inviting, as you say would expect it to have been ottered! Will chase the tackle shop up for some info thanks!

Used to be a great lake back in the early 90s but the re introduction of otters did it for those sort of waters.
