New to the Forum so looking for help and recommendations. whats the best bivvy for 2 people, the wife had decided we should start doing over nighters and possibly longer session so need to get a decent bivvy for 2. Any brands to avoid? Which brands to look for etc?

The Trakker Slx v3 Plus is a great bivvy. Very large with plenty of space for 2 beds plus spare to ensure a bit of comfort. It is heavy and large to transport but in terms of space, quality and value (it comes with an inner capsule so is secure and also has an inbuilt groundsheet which helps keep bugs etc out which I guess is a bonus for the other half, is for my son) it is highly recommended

How much gear do you take as you may want extra room to store it?

Slx v3 plus is a top bivvy (had it myself) but sold out almost everywhere, Armo V4 plus is still available

If I'm taking the wife, probably 2 suitcases and extra hand luggage for a change of shoes

I don't carry a lot as we would only go for a couple of days. I would need enough room for 2 beds and a bit of extra storage although most of that could go under the beds - Food etc.
As for Overwraps etc? I have no idea. I do have a good trolley so can transport quite a bit of kit if needed.
