I'm wonting to buy a new set of rods. But with all this lockdown stuff it seems the only option is to buy on line at the moment. The thing is I like to look at what I'm buying and hold it and so on rather than just look at a picture more so when spending a lot of money. How many of you guys buy a expensive stuff on line with out being able to look at it and hold it and so on

I'd never buy a rod or reel without seeing/holding it. Wait a few days and most shops should be open again.

As mentioned the shops will be open shortly.

I have purchased rods barrows bedchairs bivvies based reviews and research.

I did buy a trakker bedchair on line going buy reviews. A mistake on my behalf. It was more like a child's bed. Nice and comfy. But so low to the ground it was like sleeping on the floor . And a few other bits on it. So I learnt a lesson on that one

Depends on what you are buying , I would,nt need to see or hold reels before i bought them , cant speak about rods as i build my own , everything i buy i do so on reviews tried and tested etc
