as per title i am after some new bankstick as the threads on my aging cygnet stuff is pretty much knackered, do people have recommendations for sticks that dont use thumb screws?

or just say balls to it and get some chris brown stuff as its likely it will be buried with me haha

Why don't you tap them out to the next size up ..m6 ..and buy some new 6mm thumbscrews.
Also sometimes it's just the thumbscrews that are done for.

Avid lok down are pretty good, also nice and light being alloy

search 'taska bank sticks' on ebay

Someone is selling off a load of them at knock down prices - different lengths, some with auger point etc - all with cam-locks.

I have some of the longer ones and theyre great

Oh and the chris brown sticks have thumbscrews!

yeah saw the taska ones but dont have 12" sizes.

only reason i looked at the CB stuff is that its been around forever and has a good reputation.
