I'd like a small'ish barrow that folds pretty flat for the car.
I'd also prefer one that doesn't require a bunch of disassembly/reassembly each time you get it in/out of the car.
JRC contact looks perfect for the job but of course it's out of stock everywhere.
Any alternatives?

I have the JRC but getting rid of it as its not great for longer sessions. I'm looking at the the Trakker access barrow but that's out of stock too.

I really liked the look of the TB one but they weren't in stock at the time so I got a prestige portalite 2 and I love it. It's small which is great for short ‘mobile, sessions but i find I can get everything I need for longer sessions on it when loaded thoughtfully. I think it's great!

Is it capable of handling the weight of say a bivvy, rod bag, holdall, water bottle, couple of buckets and bedchair ?
Anything else i would take would go in my rucksack if i was on for a 3/4 nights

Hi,
I use the prestige Portalite barrow, mine is ancient and it's capable of carrying all of the bits mentioned, I generally pop the bed chair on after filling the under bag, ope the legs up to creat the sides and away you go.
Great bit of kit, light, compact, reasonably priced and usually in stock👍👍👍

I use a mk 2 porter without the sides, not much bigger than the porter light but a bit more versatile

Yes mate. As I said, a bit of thought when loading it and a couple of straps over it all and you're good to go
