Anyone have any info on this lake it would be much appreciated

Booking only these days, nights are secure as the gate is locked . . .the owner is lovely and will point you in the right direction, be polite and she will give you as much info as you desire . . .

Best pegs back in the day were the carp park corner (summer) and the dam wall for Autumn / Winter . . .this is the widest and deepest part of the lake. Not sure how big they go these days but simple mono rigs with placcy corn and mesh bags of pellet always worked well . . .

Done a few days down there in the autumn five or six years ago. I didn't manage to catch a Carp during those few trips and only landed Bream. The woman that comes round for the day to let money is friendly and will help put u on the fish from what I remember. Quiet bays, lily pads and a island means there's features to cast to on most pegs. I'm a midweek angler so was quiet when I went but know the weekends were rammed up there back then. Could be even busier in the last year with all these new campers with rods that have took up “fishing” since the pandemic. Shame if this is the case cos very nice clean well kept venue
