Just been watching the world carp classic 2020. I see as it finished it said thank you to carp r us tackle. I didn't realize thay are still going ? Or are thay not ? As I've not seen them in year's

Still going, they were at zwolle this year, not sure if they were ever uk based but I think in Slovakia now- the throwing stick was something special.
Can order online and think they have free postage to UK.

I use to like using there hooks. But at a guess that was around 1998 to 2000. But then seemed to dry up in my local tackle shops. I thort that many that had stopped trading

I used to love their short shank nailers 👌 quality they were. Only problem was 50% of them were always blunt. Not a problem nowadays, actually im going to buy some now! Lol

If I remember correctly used to see many odds n bobs in a discount box in local tackle store. Find it good stuff.

I have been and still use their hooks to this day, especially thd Centurion 2000.

The Cernturion 2000 is made by Ashima and its model 887

Correct, I think at one stage they were also marketed as Ashima Super Strength.

The centurion 2000 are actually a slightly different pattern than a C887. Pretty sure the eye on the centurion is more inturned but they are VERY similar hooks, granted.

I used the C887 for years and the Centurion 2000 was the natural replacement one when I couldn't get the Ashimas anymore.
