Anyone used this with their baitboat?
Anyone heard any feedback on the system?
Thinking of possibly swapping out my graphic sounder to this system as it's a bit more modern and has better features. Made by Fulcrum, the company as does their current graphic echo sounder so should be ok, but I'm a bit wary after the crap feedback on their GPS system.
Looks like a nice bit of kit but it may be a case of “ if it ain't broke, don't fix it” with the currently fitted graphic sounder.

Evening, I did a quick search on here it seems the opinion is to get the smartcast or the deeper or other alternatives as its overpriced / not that good.

I did a search but it threw nothing of note up - maybe I need to refine it more 👍
However, it isn't quite a simple as get the smartcast or deeper. As stated I have the Fulcrum Graphic system which is unique to Angling Technics which means that I already have the Transponder fitted internally in the boat - so ripping it out to then retro- fit an external transponder is not really a good option. What I am asking is does anyone have any experience of using the BlueSounder System and does it work well?
For me it would be a case of swapping out the receiver from a Fulcrum Graphic unit (bulky reciever with 90's black on green small display) to a multicolour, app driven reciever, on an iPhone or iPad display., linked by Bluetooth.
Cost wise it's only the reciever to change not a complete system, although anyone who has dealt with AT knows that Phil Fry knows his way around a five pound note so it's never cheap

That's what I'm trying to find out, if it's worth the expense.
Same details according to the website but a lot bigger display and in colour - in my mid sixties and peering at a 2 inch black on green screen in pitch darkness is getting harder. Also has the ability to freeze and wind back the display to check what you think you may have seen.
Just want to know if anyone has used it and can say if it's worth it or not.
